Stephen Williams MP has presented certificates to newly arrived Bristolians who are on the way to obtaining full British citizenship. In an awards ceremony at the Kuumba Centre in St Pauls organised by Phoenix Enterprises the MP met people who had studied for the test 'Life in the UK' that is now needed before a British passport is issued to migrants.
The MP also presented certificates to those who had completed courses in first aid. Stephen Williams commented, "It was a pleasure to meet so many people from different parts of Africa and the Middle East who are now making a success of their new lives in Bristol."
